Author: Dan Salganik
Dan Salganik, a Managing Partner at VisualFizz, is an extremely passionate and driven individual focused on the development of the company, client relationships, project management, strategy, business development, and much more.
Dan’s background stems from being a serial entrepreneur, starting with his first entrepreneurial endeavor in his junior year of college. He forewent his scholarships and went part-time in college to start his first business, which was an early adaptation of a crowdfunding platform for communities.
As a 19-year-old entrepreneur, Dan started to build up his knowledge of marketing, web development, leadership, business processes and development, sales, task management, and much more. Since his first endeavor, Dan also had worked as a digital project manager for a series of small, medium, and large marketing companies ranging from 5 people to 1,000+ in an office.
Dan has worked on thousands of marketing campaigns for companies ranging from start-up MVPs to multi-billion-dollar multi-national corporations. Some of Dan’s favorite marketing campaigns are in-depth strategic campaigns for major community/city revamping projects. For example, in Dan’s earlier days, he was able to work on a project that was closely associated with former President Obama, former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel, Yoko Ono, and the emperor of Japan. Since then, Dan has been able to enjoy projects such as helping brand Wrigleyville, Chicago neighborhoods, and much more.
Dan’s personal passions include travel (with a personal goal to travel at least 100 days per year), food, cocktails/mixology, meeting new people, and enjoying life. Though entrepreneurship and running a successful business is one of Dan’s primary goals, it’s incredibly important for him to enjoy a work-life balance and to continue to explore everything that he can.
